We are looking for a Laundry Attendant for our Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) assisted living community.
Job Description
We are looking for an individual to manage and operate our laundry.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage the laundry room, equipment and ordering supplies
  • Operate washers and dryers in accordance with recommended capacity and other manufacturer guidelines

o Observe machine operations and inform Maintenance Manager of any malfunctions

  • Wash, dry, fold, and sort linens
  • Clean filters in dryers
  • Maintain cleanliness of laundry room
  • Assist housekeepers in cleaning of suites and common areas as needed

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of housekeeping or laundry service experience
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills
  • Demonstrate an energetic, self-motivating and “can do" attitude
  • Light to medium pushing and lifting is required
  • Must have the ability to communicate in English with our team members and residents
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends
